As Kentucky starts finalizing out the rest of their roster for this upcoming season, you're going to see some final pieces being added to fill in the rest of the gray areas as needed.
This afternoon, they announced the newest walk-on to the roster. The son of the former Lexington‘s Tates Creek High School basketball star and current Northern Kentucky University head basketball coach Darrin Horn, will be joining the team. You also might remember Darrin from his playing days at Western Kentucky too. His son, Walker, was born in Covington (KY) and currently plays for Westlake High School in Texas. As his dad is thriving in the college basketball world throughout the state, now Walker will get the chance to as well. This time, in Lexington.
With Walker Horn not being a highly-touted recruit, there isn't much coverage of him online. In fact, these were the only pictures I could find of him. His Dad has to be so excited for this opportunity for his son to build the family name on such a big stage.
Walker will join five-star Cason Wallace, five-star Chris Livingston, three-star Adou Thiero and Illinois State transfer Antonio Reeves as the new faces on next year's team.
