Team USA, also known as the University of Kentucky men's basketball program, casually earned a gold medal last week during their "offseason" of a summer. Representing their country in a trip to Toronto, Canada, they finished 4-0 defeating teams representing their own country such as Team Africa, Team Canada, and Team Germany.
Kentucky impressively obtained a lead of 16 points or more in every single matchup including 20 points or greater in the final three. The team as a whole averaged 91.7 points per contest, looking like a well-oiled offensive machine. Here were the stats the led to those four dominating performances.
