Tayvion Robinson Commits To Kentucky

Kentucky has just picked up a big time commitment from Virginia Tech transfer, Tayvion Robinson.

The former four-star wide-receiver from Virginia Beach spent three seasons with the instate Hokies as he amassed 1,555 career receiving yards on an average of 13.8 per reception.

Tayvion's addition to transfer into the Kentucky program is a big deal because he joins an already stacked recruiting class coming in for that position, and can only help fill in the void if Wan'Dale Robinson was to leave.

Kentucky currently has the nations No. 13th best recruiting class (5th best in the SEC) for the class of 2022, which transfers don't count towards the class rankings. Last season, arguably three of the biggest weapons on our team came from the transfer portal in Will Levis (Penn State), Wan'Dale Robinson (Nebraska) and Jacquez Jones (Ole Miss).

Mark Stoops and his staff are tearing it up in the transfer portal. Kentucky is becoming a home for elite players who aren't enjoying their roles at other powerhouse programs. I definitely ain't ashamed of taking 'seconds' to places like Auburn and LSU like we have in the last few seasons. Kentucky is becoming a pipeline for talent to find a new home at and those schools already have too much talent to pick from anyways. Let them come find success in Lexington.
