Happy Friday morning - Kentucky got a football commitment.
Three-star Elijah Reed has committed to the Cats. The cornerback out of Louisville (eat that, Cardinal fans) chose the Wildcats over Utah, Illinois, Purdue and West Virginia.
The 13th ranked player in the state of Kentucky spent his High School career at Pleasure Ridge Park.
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound star recently switched from wide receiver to cornerback after his senior season. Due to Covid-19, he received an extra year of eligibility. This July, he was offered by Kentucky.
Reed was in attendance for the Kentucky vs. Tennessee game last weekend as well.
You should note that Elijah Reed trains as Aspirations Gym, the same gym that Wan’Dale Robinson and Kiyaunta Goodwin trained at - Goodwin still does.
With worries of possibly losing Kiyaunta Goodwin to a powerhouse like Alabama, it‘s nice to see that Kentucky just landed a commitment from one of his closest friends.
