Two Wildcats Projected In Top 10 Of NBA Mock Draft

We're reaching that time of the year where NBA Draft analysts have seen enough evidence of players across college basketball to get a good idea of where they rank amongst the best in the sport, and how high they can be drafted this summer.

Well, I guess I'm going to contradict my previous statement because one of the Kentucky guys projected in this years Draft has yet to even play a single minute of college basketball, but, he's being evaluated solely based on potential.

In the most recent mock draft put out by ESPN, the list has Shaedon Sharpe at No. 7 and TyTy Washington at No. 9. The New Orleans Pelicans have the seventh pick while the Washington Wizards have the ninth.

The entire top-ten in ESPN's mock draft:

  1. Chet Holmgren (Gonzaga)

  2. Paolo Banchero (Duke)

  3. Jabari Smith (Auburn)

  4. Jalen Duren (Memphis)

  5. Jaden Ivey (Purdue)

  6. Keegan Murray (Iowa)

  7. Shaedon Sharpe (Kentucky)

  8. Johnny Davis (Wisconsin)

  9. TyTy Washington (Kentucky)

  10. Ben Mathurin (Arizona)

It'll be exciting to see where these two move throughout the season, and I'd say it's likely to assume that we won't see an other year of TyTy in Lexington, but Shaedon on the other hand, who knows.
