TyTy Washington Exits Auburn Game With Ankle Injury

Kentucky's five-star freshman, TyTy Washington, went down just nine minutes into the Auburn game after rolling his ankle on a drive to the basketball.

He was helped off the court by teammate Brennan Canada and a member of the staff, not allowing pressure to be put on his left ankle. Just minutes later, Kentucky announced he would not return to the game. From the little evidence we have, it appears to be a normal 'rolled ankle' which he'll have to monitor over the next 10 days or so.

John Calipari was asked in his postgame press conference if he had any update on TyTy, in which he didn't have much of an answer for.

What does Kentucky lose when TyTy is out? “It hurts us. He’s a playmaker. If he needs to go get a basket, he can do it," says Calipari.

Kentucky will host Mississippi State on Tuesday, then will travel to No. 7 Kansas the following Saturday. I predict TyTy will not be available to go Tuesday because that is just too quick of a turn around, but if all goes well, maybe a game time decision will happen at Kansas.
