UK Strength And Conditioning Coach No Longer With The Program

A lot of staff shake up has come within the last 12 months, with a major landscape change last offseason and some of that we're just now seeing this offseason. Kentucky is adapting and changing the program in hopes to get back to the heights they once were at not so long ago.

Monday night, a job was posted online that the school was in search of a new strength and conditioning coach, as they have to do due to state laws, but of course didn't make a public announcement on it. They have to create that job listing whether they actually accept applications for from the public or not - let me tell you, they do not - and this afternoon, Rob Harris made a public announcement on the schools decision. "I want to say thank you to UK athletics and UK fans for allowing me the opportunity to be a part of BBN for the last 8 seasons. It has been a pleasure working with each player who has come through the program. I have grown tremendously since being a part of UK and I am excited about what this next chapter in my career will bring me and my family. God Bless you all."

Rob had been the program's strength and conditioning coach since 2014. Look for the school to announce a new hire almost immediately. This summer, John Calipari will be pulling all cards to adjust this staff and climb us back towards national prominence in every area possible.
