UK Will Be Out A Few Players In The Citrus Bowl

Kickoff is in less than 15 minutes, and Kentucky has released some names of players who won’t be suiting up against Iowa.

A few names already expected to miss today’s game are Josh Ali and Isaiah Epps. We have also learned that JJ Weaver will be out and is sick.

A few other names are known to be Kavosiey Smoke, Train Wallace, Marquez Bembry and Dare Rosenthal.

Lastly, for Kentucky’s 8th guy out is Josh Paschal. He suffered an injury in the Louisville game and wasn’t expected to play in today’s game up to last week, until he was seen practicing with the team during the bowl prep. Although it looks to be good that he’s having a quick recovery, he just isn’t ready for game play yet.

UK says the following players are inactive for today’s game due to a “combination of injuries and health and safety protocols.”

Kentucky and Iowa are set for a 1:00 kick, and the Wildcats look to win their 4th straight bowl.
