Upperclassmen Lance Ware and Jacob Toppin both missed tonights game versus Mount. Saint Mary's due to injuries. Ware played just one minute against Robert Morris (ankle) and Jacob Toppin did not play at all (shoulder) in the last two.
Tonight, Ware was seen on the court during warm-ups (limited action) but did not get any clock time, and Jacob Toppin was not out at all during pregame. Both sat on the bench the entire game this evening in their sweats, cheering on their teammates to get the heavily favorited win.
In the postgame press conference, John Calipari was asked to provide an update on both of the players status, in which he said, “There was no damage damage (for Toppin), he’s got a bruised shoulder. We’ll see." On Lance Ware, Cal commented, "Lance has the ankle [injury], so whether he’ll play in two days, I don’t know.” Head Coach John Calipari didn't go into extreme detailing, but both players have no been listed as day-to-day.
