Washington signs NIL deal with Gatorade

Updated: Nov 5, 2021

Kentucky Men’s Basketball player TyTy Washington keeps raking in the NIL deals. First it was Porsche, then America’s Best Caviar, cryptocurrency, now…… Gatorade! That’s right, America’s favorite sports drink has now endorsed the freshman Kentucky guard. Washington, who hasn’t even played a regular season game yet for the Wildcats, has cashed in big with the name, image, and likeness rule. All I know is whoever Washington’s agent is, that man deserves a raise for getting Washington all these deals. I mean I understand how marketable he is but it takes a lot to land a deal with a company such as Gatorade.

Here is the post that Washington made on his personal Instagram just minutes ago:

We all knew that Washington would make several hundreds of thousands of dollars when coming to Kentucky but with deals like these coming in it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he could reach 7 figures by the end of his college career here (which more than likely will be only one season) at Kentucky (even before the NBA).

This is what we call the Kentucky effect ladies and gentlemen, I think you would be hard pressed to find another collegiate athlete that is having as much success as TyTy is with NIL deals and if this continues it will only make coming to Kentucky more appealing for recruits in the future.
