The roster transformation continues to take shape for Kyra Elzy and the Kentucky women‘s basketball team. Following the disappointing news that Jazmine Massengil, Treasure Hunt, and Dre’Una Edwards have all put their name in the transfer portal, Coach Elzy has another body to replace on the depth chart.
Junior center, Olivia Owens, has entered her name into the transfer portal. The 6’4 transfer form Maryland averaged 3.1 PPG and 3.0 RPG throughout this past season. Owens took to social media to thank the Big Blue Nation and discuss her future plans that include graduating from Kentucky and pursing her career goals as an attorney.

With Owen’s departure, that now makes four former Wildcats to have entered the transfer portal.
