Women’s Basketball: Rhyne Howard Named to Wooden Watch List

In probably the least surprising news you’ll hear today, Kentucky‘s Rhyne Howard has been named to the Wooden Award mid-season top 25 watch list.

Howard is without a doubt one of the top players in the country and has been since she stepped foot on campus. The senior guard always has her name in the stat sheet, averaging 18.7 PPG, 6.5 RPG, and 4.1 APG.

For Howard to legitimately have a shot at this award, she is going to need some help from her Wildcat teammates. While the Wooden Award is an individual award, team success always plays a role in who ends up taking it home. Howard and the Cats return to the court tomorrow night to take on 15th ranked Georgia.
