WR Clevan Thomas Enters The Transfer Portal
It's that time of the year where players start to find out what their role inside their program will look like come fall, with new players coming in and systems getting turned around to prepare for the upcoming season, and often you see players start making the decisions early that have the best interest for their career, which can result in them switching schools. Kentucky wide receiver, Clevan Thomas, has made that decision today.
He took to Twitter this afternoon to thank fans for their support during his time here.
Thomas committed to Kentucky in 2016, enrolling early in January of 2017 and spending five seasons at Kentucky, redshirting during his third year as a redshirt sophomore.
The Miami, Florida native has seen action in 29 career games including 8 official starts as a Wildcat. He'll enter the portal as a graduate transfer, in search of his new home with an announcement likely coming soon.
The 5'11, 193lb receiver recorded 16 receptions for 169 receiving yards during his collegiate career. The former three-star recruit was ranked one of the top-100 receivers by every major scouting service at the time of his commitment.
