Kentucky took on the Saint Joseph Hawks tonight in their first game back in action since their impressive 101-67 win against Stonehill last Friday night.
Kentucky barely lead the Hawks 41-38 at halftime, however, Saint Joseph's kept themselves in the game with their stellar three-point shooting and second-chance points all the way until the very end. This was a very good challenge from a very well-coached team that had lots of discipline in their trip to Rupp Arena.
Kentucky improved their record on the season to 4-1 with their 96-88 victory over the Saint Joseph Hawks this evening. Saint Joseph's falls to 3-2 on the year.
Here are the final stats from the outing. Tre Mitchell, DJ Wagner, and Antonio Reeves all found themselves into the 20-point ball park.
We'll see the Wildcats back in action next Friday, November 24, right after Thanksgiving versus the Marshall Thundering Herd at 7:00 PM. Marshall is currently 2-2 on the season coming off an 80-69 victory today against Florida International University.
