Nate Sestina, Reid Travis both set to play in the '21 NBA Summer League

Two former Wildcats are getting another shot at impressing the big-wigs from the front offices of a few NBA organizations, as the 2021 NBA Summer League will take place August 8-17 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Nate Sestina (2019-20) and Reid Travis (2018-19) both have been sleeted to participate this summer, showcasing that they have what it takes to play in the league, hoping to crack an actual NBA roster this fall.
Nate Sestina background post college:
On July 30, 2020, Nate Sestina signed his first professional contract with Kyiv-Basket of the Ukrainian SuperLeague.
On October 13, he signed with Nizhny Novgorod of the VTB United League. However, with the season being cancelled, Sestina was released on November 3rd, before playing an official game for the team.
After going undrafted in the 2020 NBA draft, Nate Sestina signed an Exhibit 10 contract for with the Brooklyn Nets on December 1, 2020. He was waived by the Nets on December 11. He was added to the roster of the Nets' NBA G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets.
On March 15, 2021, he signed with Hapoel Holon of the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
On July 8, 2021, Sestina signed with Merkezefendi Belediyesi Denizli Basket of the Basketbol Süper Ligi.
Reid Travis' background post college:
After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, Reid Travis joined the Atlanta Hawks for the 2019 NBA Summer League.
On July 22, 2019, Travis signed his first professional contract with Medi Bayreuth of the Basketball Bundesliga. He averaged 9.8 points and 5.4 rebounds per game when the season was suspended.
Reid Travis signed with Shimane Susanoo Magic of the B.League on June 29, 2020.
Exciting news to see that two former Wildcats aren't being forgot about, and after multiple seasons of hard work and great performances overseas, the two big men who helped lead the way for Cal's grad-transfer method are getting another shot at the NBA.
