The preseason hype continues for the Cats. Coaches from all across the Southeastern Conference took to voting to name their respective All-SEC standings for the players they will either coach or go up against this upcoming season. After the voting concluded, 6 Kentucky Wildcats made the all-conference cut.
Chris Rodriguez - First Team Offense
Kenneth Horsey - Second Team Offense
Will Levis - Third Team Offense
Tayvion Robinson - Third Team Offense
Jacquez Jones - Third Team Defense
DeAndre Square - Third Team Defense
With all six of those names having high volumes of experience playing college football, and 5 of them doing it as a Wildcat, I'm as confident as ever that these six will lead the way this season and keep elevating the height of where this program can go.
While these are great honors by all means, knowing the 'dog' that's in all of our player's work ethics, it leads me to believe that the ones who didn't make the first-team selection will use this as just a little bit more motivation to show everyone while they deserve to be labeled as the best - not just one of the best.
