Will Levis In The Hunt For Golden Arm Award

Updated: Oct 29, 2022

Kentucky Quarterback Will Levis continues to make a name for himself here in Lexington. At the beginning of the 2022 college football season, Levis was on the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watch list. Today, it was announced that Levis was named as one of the top ten candidates to win the prestigious award. The others in the top ten include Stetson Bennett, Max Duggan, Sam Hartman, Hendon Hooker, Bo Nix, Will Rogers, CJ Stroud, Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Bryce Young.

The candidates are all selected by the members of the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Selection Committee, a group of well-known college football journalists, college football commentators, announcers, as well as former college football players.

The Golden Arm award will be presented to the top senior or upperclassman quarterback on December 7, 2022, by The Johnny Unitas Educational Foundation President, John Unitas Jr., at the Golden Arm Award banquet and celebration in Baltimore, Maryland. The candidate chosen for this award is based on their performance both on and off the field.

Will Levis will lead the 19th ranked Kentucky Wildcats into Knoxville this Saturday night to take on the 3rd ranked Tennessee Volunteers, with kickoff scheduled for 7:00 PM EST on ESPN.
