Despite a 26-point defeat at the hands of 5th ranked Tennessee, Kentucky is still ranked at 23rd in the newest AP top 25.
The writers here at Cats Coverage are avid members of BBN, but we’d be remised if we didn’t say that Kentucky being ranked so high wasn’t a bit of a head scratcher.
The Wildcats are now 8-5 and have only tallied one power five victory this season in an 84-76 victory over Georgia. Other than that, Kentucky’s victories are rather modest.
Kentucky returns to action this week with two home matchups against Florida and Ole Miss. Despite what AP voters say, these next two games are must win for the Wildcats to get back on the right side of the bubble.
