Big Blue Madness just started out with a bang. Aaron Bradshaw, consensus 5-Star recruit and top ranked center in the class of 2023, has committed to the University of Kentucky!
Big Blue Madness is an anticipated time to see many former Cats in attendance, but some of the biggest news is all of the potential future players who are taking visits to Kentucky. There are no shortage of 5 star recruits from the classes of 2023, 2024 and even 2025 in Rupp Arena tonight, but all eyes are on one pair of teammates in particular: DJ Wagner and Aaron Bradshaw from Camden High School. Both of these standouts have narrowed down their college decisions to a pair of schools: Kentucky and in-state rival Louisville, with the G League Ignite team looming as an option for Bradshaw as well. That was, of course, until tonight, when Aaron Bradshaw shocked the Big Blue Nation and recruiting world by announcing a surprise commitment to Kentucky.
Both DJ Wagner and Aaron Bradshaw had the opportunity to take all expenses paid trips on official visits to UK this weekend. Both had waived that opportunity to take unofficial visits together with their high school team. With Justin Edwards, Robert Dillingham and Reed Sheppard already committed, and now Aaron Bradshaw on board, with DJ Wagner on deck, John Calipari is nearing the end of his 2023 superclass.
