Kentucky just picked up a commitment from Auburn OL transfer, Tashawn Manning.
Former three-star out of Florida in 2016 found his way to spending four seasons with the Auburn football program before graduating this December. In a recent tweet of his, he told Auburn fans he'd "like to take advantage of the extra season" he had been granted and explore his options in the transfer portal.
Two weeks later, he is a Kentucky Wildcat. The 6'4 335lb offensive lineman from the Tigers will roll right into our team bringing four years of SEC football to our line. Due to redshirting his freshman year, he only saw 2 games of action. Then followed up with 5 his sophomore year, 11 his junior year and 8 his senior year.
"I want to extend a great big thank you to my parents, my sister, my girlfriend and all of the fans, coaches, and universities who showed me love during this decision making process. It is now time for me to take the next step in my collegiate career. With that being said I have decided to use my last year of eligibility at the University of Kentucky."
