Cats Coverage Staff Predicts UK's Season

Just hours away from the college basketball season beginning, the experts have made their picks. Our staff of writers predicted what we think UK's regular season record will be, who will lead the Cats in points, assists, and rebounds, and also who we think the NCAA tournament's final four will be.

Our record predictions ranged from as good as 29-2 (Grant and I) to as low as 23-8 (Jordan) with an average of about 25.9 wins.

Isaac picked Kellan Grady to lead the team in scoring while everyone else had freshman TyTy Washington. Sahvir Wheeler is the heavy favorite to lead the team in assists, but Tres and I had TyTy to lead our team in both scoring and assists. Oscar "20 and 20" Tshiebwe was the unanimous choice to lead our team in rebounding.

Janson was the only one to leave Kentucky out of the final four, so make sure to go and boo him on Twitter. (Seriously, what is up with that?) After Kentucky receiving the most final four selections, UCLA, Gonzaga, and Michigan were the next highest vote getters.

The Cats will begin this run towards a final four tonight at 9:30 ET as we take on Coach K and the Duke Blue Devils in the Champions Classic.
