Devin Leary Named To The Golden Arm Award Watch List

Devin Leary has been selected as one of the 48 quarterbacks across the country to be chosen as a candidate for this prestigious award.

The award is a yearly recognition for the top 'senior or upperclassman quarterback' set to graduate with their class. Just last season, Devin was a semifinalist after a 5-1 record with the Wolfpack before suffering a season-ending injury. The award is in honor of Johnny Unitas who spent 18 years in the National Football League and owns the record of throwing a touchdown pass in 49 consecutive games. Not to mention, he also owns 40,239 career passing yards as a professional.

The winner will be announced at the Golden Arm Award banquet at the Four Seasons Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland on December 7.

As he looks to win this award, he's also been named to the watch lists for the Maxwell Award, Davey O’Brien Award, and the Comeback Player of the Year. Let's hope he can get the sweep of them all.
