Selection Sunday: Full Bracket And Where Kentucky Ended Up

Updated: Mar 21, 2022

The NCAA Tournament bracket is set, and with that Kentucky will head to Indianapolis to play in the 1st round of the NCAA Tournament to begin their run to New Orleans, where John Calipari and Kentucky won their last NCAA Championship in 2012.

They’re placed in the East Region as the 2 seed.

Kentucky will play Saint Peters on the first Thursday of March Madness. UK will look to bounce back after suffering a loss to Tennessee in the semifinal of the SEC Tournament, which potentially could have earned Kentucky the fourth 1 seed in the Big Dance. If Kentucky advances, they will play the winner of Murray State and San Francisco on Saturday.

Here is the entire NCAA Tournament bracket:

Getting past any team in March is a challenge, but there is no doubt that with a Sweet 16 on the line, ALL of Kentucky will be tuned in for the Murray State and Kentucky games if both teams win their first round matchups.
